I was thinking that is one SHARP bucket !!!! Even if the wood is soft, the cutting edge has to be SHARP to make such clean cuts..... doesn't it?

Plus you have to wonder if the wood from that species of tree is especially soft, or otherwise more conducive to such slicing.

It is cleat by the frawns instead of leaves that it is a palm tree, many of them are about as soft as balsa.
you guys are right that bucket must have a sharp cutting edge in any case

Quite Correct! I was recently driving a friend home, on Highway 99N and he made a comment about a grove of trees. He thought they (Populars) were planted to "soak up" excess moisture from that particular ground.

I was able to correct him, sharing that that Specific Species, was Genetically Created to Grow Fast, to be used for Pulp Paper Mfg. Last Year, They Harvested about 80 Acres, Complete with ROOT Removal, and it is already Replanted, To the best of my knowledge this 3 mile long area a Mile "deep" has been growing/cutting/replanting the same species for about 20 YEARS Now. 8-10 Year from planting to Proper Cutting dimension: Due to our "WET"
