We soldered a paint can lid to a copper tubing bent into a pistol shape. The paint can lid shielded your hand from the fire and allowed for some aimability. Pint paint can lid and tubing for little bottle rockets and gallon paint can lid for the larger sky rockets. Ahhhh... good times! Until one hits you then blows up in front of you!
