I do enjoy sitting at my desk pondering obscure problems. OTOH, I enjoy sitting quietly in a boat fishing while I ponder obscure problems. Actually, there's not a lot of difference between the two occupations. The former sometimes yields a solution while the latter occasionally yields a solution and something tasty for dinner :-).
