Like Rick stated in his explanation about using a Mapp torch to remove the needle like splintering you have to be very careful not to melt the part you are trying to debur.
I find the little throw away propane turbo torches work well on the real thin stuff the turbo torches can be found at many convenience stores and places like the Dollar general for around 2 bucks
The concentrated pencil point flame is much easier to control where you aim it but again it will develop plenty of heat to ruin your parts if left in one spot for any length of time
I keep several of them around for low temp soldering connections and shrink tubing
