    They're all tiny engines that rev to infinity. The last I heard in person was the V10 era, and they sounded better than a camera mic can record, but even then it was meh.
    When the current turbo V6 was mandated fans had a big cry because they weren't loud enough, so FIA made changes to the exhaust. They still sound like daily drivers with a muffler delete.

    Sad that those sounds are gone.

    Sadder still is that F1 is now owned by an American marketing company.
    The race is more like a procession.

    Aside from the lack of earth shaking technology, the fun stuff is gone.
    In the old days those drivers rarely crashed into each other on purpose.
    But when they did they really meant it.
