I did eventually succeed in removing the terminal from the fuse block. The key was locating a diagram of an uncrimped terminal, which allowed me to visualize exactly where the little spread clips were located. At that point, I had it out in thirty seconds.
The car is actually completed and running now, though I'm still chasing down a few minor squawks. Can't wait for some track days this spring!
