Without the recoil buffer the term kicks like a mule and bites like a crocodile would fit very well.

Seems to hit the limit stop pretty hard, a bit of progressive damping would help out a lot.

I wonder how much velocity and accuracy suffers compared to a traditional .50 BMG rifle.

You'd be the envy of the range with that beast. Amazingly, the scope required will cost more than the rifle, and rounds, at $3 each, make for an expensive day.

Only bolt action 50's legal in the UK, but a £9 a round ~$12 I don't think I'll bother.
