golden spiral or fibonacci spiral

Hi Y'all,
New guy here , I own a metal fab business and sign company. I own a torchmate 4'x8' plasma table. that is working better than it ever has after owning it for 4 years and getting most of the bugs out of it. I was playing around with making a scroll bender for flat bar but after making a scroll pattern to cut out it seems that scroll pattern templates for sign brackets and gates and railings dont seem to necessarily follow the golden spiral method or fibonacci spiral. can anyone shed light on this topic and enlighten me? does anyone have a digital pattern in vector format that i could cut on my torchmate?
