Ahhh, the good old days.....when bench grinders had real, therefore useful, tool rests.
So 'we' could build specialized tooling utilizing that feature! Formed sheet metal is NO substitute for cast iron or steel.
Appreciated detail of your video, with good bits of 'why', not just 'because', or 'always did it this way'. Studying others thought process, benefit any willing to pay attention.
Apprehensive at first, with a 33 minute run time, until the opening with the shaper. "Ohh this guy gets it, I'll watch!"
