Guide for cutting profile in an I beam

This morning I needed to cut some profiles in the ends of a pair of I beams
the profiles have to match and both beams will have the same cut on both ends

I made it out of aluminum to be smoother dragging the torch tip along it, also when these templates are made out of steel spark slag coming off a torch if it happens to blow back for any reason will stick to the template aluminum reduces this somewhat.
Plus it is a lot lighter.
but my main reason was it was already the correct size just needed the profile cut into it.
