Target lock. Looking at the thing you are trying to avoid will take you right to it, just like when riding a motorcycle.

Of course the wind is also a factor here. That tree should probably be cut down as that looks like a regular launch site.

5 minutes and a chainsaw would eliminate future problems! Why would you leave the ONE tree on that hill directly in front of the launch ramp? Who decided that was the perfect place for the launch ramp? So many questions!
