The pilot might have been able to maintain control through the wind gust had his right-side aft skid not hooked under the aircraft trolly. That cooked him. I’m somewhat amazed that there was no policy to have all static tests be accompanied by firm fixation of the helicopter skids to the trolly. There’s no reason to have it be “free” unless it has been prepared for flight.
