I can not even imagine trying to live in a complex such as that. Several times throughout my career we had to exist in apartments never anything like that though. ON one contract job the company put us up in an apartment that had to have cost three grand a month or more. When asked what I thought about the accommodations I told them true fully I'd rather live in a tent at the far end of the jobsite than the apartment. When asked why. I just straight out told them I don't do the neighbor thing right across a hallway and a I for sure don't. like having to ride an elevator to the 10th floor I design freight elevators, but it doesn't mean I want to ride one every day.
Never try to tell me it can't be done

That would be my idea of living in hell, I am on 1/2 acre and I think that is way too small.

I have one neighbor 450ft away with trees and a hill in between and then the next four are over 1100ft away. The nearest property is a cemetery, so I don't have to worry about them, unless the zombie apocalypse starts...

That way of living does not appeal to me at all. I counted 25 floors and what are the odds of elevators working reliably in Russia, it sounds like a full time job for someone in a complex like that.

I poked around on Google Earth and there are bunches of these in St. Petersburg - dozens of complexes, hundreds of buildings - hopefully they didn't learn concrete from the Chinese...
