Thanks for the video. Looks like a useful tool. One question: I've never tried to drill a hole through a file since a file is generally harder than a drill bit. Did you anneal the file first and then subsequently heat treat it? Also in its initial hard state I would think it would be too brittle to survive the stress imposed during the cutting. You showed some successful cuts and that was good. Have you continued to use the tool without it suffering a brittle fracture? I'm not trying to be critical or negative just being practical from my experience. Thanks again for showing the design of your tool.
