    That is really I nice design. I am wanting to have both a forge and crucible furnace. This makes me wonder if it might serve both purposes? Not sure about the heat coming down from the top into the crucible? Perhaps have two burners, one like shown in use when forging, the other perhaps around the perimeter when using a crucible?
