    These are fields that an armature sits in. I've rebuilt enough elec motors to know.

    ACTUALLY, THESE APPEAR TO BE THE "FIELDS" THAT AN ARMATURE SIT AND SPIN WITHIN.

    Having frequently salvaged the copper from motors, I’ve often wondered how they’re made. It’s easy to remove the copper from stators; from rotors, hardly worth the effort.
