Thanks, Most laws made by all governments are stupid. In my opinion every government has been corrupted to the core. Drunk on the power they have created for themselves, because there are not enough self-aware people willing to become involved in trying to root out the corruption and reduce the number of power drunk officials in office. Just remember power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Governments make these laws under the misleading premise of "protection". What it is really about is protecting "Their" power over the people. Governments are afraid of citizens that can protect themselves from corrupt governments.

The US Constitution was written to protect the people from the government, not the government from the people.
And people are only free when they don't have to ask the government for permission to exercise their constitutional rights.
If you have to ask for permission your not free!
