The companies making lifts have 'end of arm' fittings for all kinds of work. One extends width for drywall, another for narrow pieces, etc.
One has a shelf [cut down pallet] and works as freight elevator to my mezzanine. Sure, trips up and down stairways but far less than hand carry.
