I'll never forget the last time I rode with my grandpa. Evidently, we underestimated how bad his eye sight had gotten, and he himself couldn't quite understand why EVERYONE else was driving in his lane.

It's the only time I ever legitimately kissed the pavement after exiting a vehicle. I was so glad to be alive. On the other hand, grandpa left a few unamused drivers calling for tow trucks to pull them out of a ditch somewhere in south Arkansas in the late 80's.
