Well, they are not fooling around there. No body telling the others to slow down and not make them look bad! And decent attention paid to safety.

I know one thing, My 53 FT JB Hunt container designed to rail and highway is made of kryptonite metal. even though the side walls are only 14ga, Hillman self-drilling Sheetmetal screws will not penetrate them. Have to predrill the proper size hole or the screw will not even start threading into it either.
Never try to tell me it can't be done
When I have to paint I use KBS products

I have 3 - NYK 40' high cubes I am using as the base for my new barn/shop. Whenever I have to drill into them, I bring my bench grinder outside so I do not have to walk to my old shop in the basement to sharpen drill bits.

Yes it most defiantly is. It has to be to withstand the handling loading and stacking and mishandling throughout the life of the containers.
Corten alloys have been used primarily in them for as long as there have been shipping containers, for its corrosion resistance and strength properties.
Astm 242 class and the newer ASTM A588 and A606 have additional benefits when rolled into thin sheets then roll formed into corrugated panels of retaining its memory against permanent deformation, About the same strength as A672 with a surface hardness and wear resistance similar to AR350.
One of the reasons I call it kryptonite metal much like the T1 A514 plate I am so fond of using for high strength fabrication applications it may have nowhere near the tensile strength of T1 but it still rates high on my list.
