Hello all and thank you for allowing me to join. I'm here to learn more about woodworking. I have been a mechanic for an equipment company for over 20 years and now technical advisor and trainer. I might be retiring in a few years and will need a hobby so I thought wood would be nice. I also want to do modeling with acrylics. My first project is to build props for an air conveyance training class that I will do in front of large groups of people in our equipment industry. I’m building a woodworking work station with table saw and flip over miter saw. It is rough because I used shipping wood crates that some of our equipment comes on, mostly 4x4 and 1x6. I’ll post a picture when done.
