Introduction

I grew up working in a shop with my grandfather and father. They were always making or modifying tools. My grandfather was a real craftsman. My father was a "lets get it done now, time is money" kind of guy. Regretfully, I picked up more of the latter. My latest tool creations are two sets of carbide wood turning tools, one full size and one mid size. They work great.

I am always looking for new ideas and better ways to do things, hence my interest in this forum.

Please do post those pics - lots of guys would be interested in seeing your work. What do you have underway at the moment?

Most of my turning is bowls and containers with lids. I will post some pics of the tools as soon as I get back to my shop. Right now I am on the road.
