Just joined

Hello everyone,
I have just joined up and am looking forward to swing new ideas and talking to like minded engineers.
I restore motorbikes for a hobby and I am just finishing a 1978 Yamaha XS500, although I have yet to fire the engine up (this is somewhat of a problem). All started when my son asks me to help restore his Honda CB750, I thoroughly enjoys it. I used to play about with cars but found motorbikes to be much more rewarding.

I fell down the building rabbit hole myself years ago. Planes, bikes, a race car, and always thinking of the next project.
