Keeping it simple, a bench hook

The workshop is a bit crowded at the moment so I made myself bench hook so that I don't have to get the workmate out for simple sawing jobs.

Bench hook - Mini Woodworking Project

My plan is to make a magnifier lamp a bit like this with wooden base and supports but a 3D printed head.

Good idea, I have seen some thing like it looking at old woodworkers shop photos. I might try this one out!

Having resorted to clamping things to the table to actually make this I am sure I will appreciate it's usefulness even more. You don't have to make it that accurately to get the benefit.
