Nice looking tool. I made mine with 1/8 steel (3.2 mm) and it tends to twist some. This makes the first and last portions of the knurl unusable, so I have to put some sort of decoration - under cut or something - at each end. My remake will be beefier.

The first knurl was the tap handle.
I have a commercial tap wrench with knurled handles, and the feel of the knurl annoys me, so I made another with smooth handles. I like the feel of my own better. It doesn't affect the function at all since the forces are just push/pull and not any twisting motion.

Knurls on knobs, though, seem essential. With your fine knurling tool, I expect you will be making lots of knobs.
