I harp on this a lot, believing cessation of so many Industrial Arts programs, made folks not well informed about mechanics in general, quality overall. I figure there are 2.5 generations so grouped.

Noy only that, there are multitudes of people these days in positions of which they are unqualified. Obviously in politics and political appointees but really it goes much further than that.
