Making a hammer + handle making

In this video I make a hammer from another piece of lathe tool bit (don't think it is HSS). I'm very bad at forging and didn't have any fuller tools so I just ground them with an angle grinder to make sort of like a rounding hammer.

The handle is made from ash and finished with linseed oil.

The weight of a hammer is about 900 grams or about 2 lbs. It is the last video that I made on an old anvil so new projects will be made on my new larger anvil. I'm using a homemade brake drum forge with coal and a hair dryer.
