making knive and axes

Hello , i am interested in talking with people that are making tools for knife and axe making. I will be taking a blacksmith preliminary course in Jan 2015. I have not started making anything but appreciate any tips

We've definitely got some talented knife makers and blacksmiths here. Have you built (or otherwise acquired) a forge yet?

When you're ready to share some of your own homemade tools, we'd love to see them. Please post them directly in the Homemade Tools subforum. We'll add each one to the database, as well as to your builder page on the site.

Non-tool items should be shared in the Not a Tool, but Homemade subforum.
