Someone asked why I couldn't cut the countersink before parting off. In theory that is feasible if the parting tool makes a really good finish at a precise position, but the 2mm parting blades tend to leave some machining marks and don't always go in perfectly straight, so it's way easier to use the glue chuck. There is a variable that needs to be considered. The thickness of the glue line will affect the finished thickness. I tried to get that consistent by using the same amount of finger pressure and glue. Sorry if I didn't make it clear enough in the clip. Thanks for the question.
