"Typical of 3rd world production." Yep, you're right Toolmaker51. And it is sufficient in a world where labor is cheap and glad to work, to have a job. It was sufficient in the USA in the 1930s to build roads, parks, dams, bridges to use more hand labor and less machine labor.
I am concerned that the on-coming rebuild of America's infra-structure--way past due and way more expensive like all past due invoices--will involve more machine labor rather than hand labor. The consequence is the machine builders and machine contractors will make all the money. The laborers, the few willing ones there are, will not get the dough.
The infra-structure bill will be another gift to corporations.
