This tool has been around at least40 years!

They forgot one step in the process. There is another part on the tool which can be seen at the :08 mark right after cutting the line which is a piece of steel with tapered ends that they need to flip up and pull the arms together. This will push into both ends of tubing and "flare=" both ends of the tubes at the same time allowing the fitting to start straight and easy with much less effort than they used.= "Pin It")
Newbies yes. They forgot one step in the process.
