    Membership issue

I clicked the first item in this evenings email about power hammers. It had a login screen and Firefox had auto loaded my login data. I logged and and it brought me to a the warning page with 2 questions. You may be trying to access Supporter-only content. To access this content, click here to subscribe. I clicked the subscribe link and was brought to the page to choose one of three choices. Well being on a fixed income and not knowing much more about what is going, I chose FREE. I entered the email address and it then said please wait. I went and had supper and came back and was still waiting. Closed the browser and did not click the first link and I noticed the (supporter-only content) in the email. Clicked the 2nd and it opened and I logged in.So it looks like this site is going yo be going down hill. What do I get for my money? Its like pay per view. You can see it all, except this one or that one.

Sorry for the rant but this forum is one of the few places I look forward to seeing things and tools that others have built. Being newly retired and looking forward to having the time to build things and now this happenes.

    regards
    Robert

You can still see all of the same things that you were able to see on this site without paying anything.

Because we'd like to move away from having advertising on the site, we've taken the time to create new, additional content, and people can pay $5/month (or $39/year) to access that new content. Most people are choosing the $39/year membership option so far, instead of the $5/month. However, we're considering doing a first-month-free option, so you would be able to get all of the paid content, and then, if you didn't want to continue, you could cancel within 1 month without ever having to pay anything.
