That is much more fun that watching them mix it in one of those enclosed shaker machines.
Brings back memories of my teen years painting apartments during the summer. Our barrel type paint mixer bent and broke so the boss took off to get a new one, I told him I would just make one but he said no, he'd run to get one. The nearest store was about 30 minutes from the apartments and as soon as he left I grabbed some threaded rod and 3/4" washers and welded them to the threaded rod in about 10 minutes. By the time he got back with a $25 mixer I was half done painting the first apartment. He looked at the mixer I made and never bought another one!
