Model Cannon and carriage

Thanks for posting your cannon Dan. I had a similar with my .30 cal smooth bore when I was 16 or so. I used the jetex fuse also and had 30 lbs of lead on top of the cannon that was mounted to an electrical box. I fired mine outside with shotgun powder and had my target about 5' from an old bucket.
When that thing went off the cannon flew back about 10' into a block wall and the bucket flew more than 25' into the ravine. Went to the edge and looked down at the bucket with a nice .30 cal hole in it...When I went down and picked up the bucket I got the rest of the story. There was a very ragged hole about 5" in diameter blown in that bucket...Guess I had too much powder in it....Never did that again!
