Turning circle of a supertanker, and almost as much windage, no thanks.

Novel idea, but I'd prefer just hauling a trailer of the same size than special building a dedicated extended frame with a wind-catcher that high off the ground. You'd get killed in New Mexico getting blown off the road or into other traffic. I've seen many tractor trailer rigs blown over (as in laying on their sides) in the median in New Mexico and Southern Colorado.

If one were insistent on building a dedicated unit like this, a trike format would lower the CG, lower the frontal cross-section and add needed stability. But then you'd still have the issue of the ridiculously large turn radius... maybe an articulated trike frame to tighten the turn radius? Now that would be really cool on a moto-home. I find a mini-van works really well for sleeping in while traveling, is a LOT less work and more comfortable. But minivans lack the "cool" factor, which at my age I'm fine with not being considered "cool".

Just because it's a novel idea doesn't make it a good one. A solution in search of a problem.
