I really don't think a bike engine is a suitable engine for that unless you rig up a fan for cooling. There's not enough air moving around the engine to keep it cool.

should of made it a drive on unit so your transportation isant ****ed up. and easy to do, just put bike on 2 narow car rims and tie it down, run chain off one of the rims or both.both would be better. a fan could also be run off of it. or run the exhaust through a old turbo and use it to blow fresh air across the engine. 5 min set up time go go work then 5 min till your ready to ride home. and since this guy has some tallent building it all would be easy. especialy with car axle to bolt to the rims and add bearings& sproket.

LOTS of wrecked motorcycles available to get an engine. I would bet this guy still has transportation.

Add shrouding and a fan then this engine could last many years plus have the advantage of more than 1 blade speed because of motorcycles having a transmission if he wants to change from a rough cut to a finer toothed blade for finer cuts.
Another other advantage would be an emergency blade stop could be connected to the clutch.

That engine looks like a knock off of one of the Honda or any major brands single cylinder trail/dual sport bike. I've had many of them, they run forever if you keep oil in them. Spent countless hours riding through the woods back home, no trails, just brush busting at a walking pace, never had one overheat. I still have several Honda XR bikes that just won't quit.

That is a fact. There are many "knock off" brands in the Caribbean. Even some of the name brands seem to be knockoffs. I have worked with a mission in the Dominican Republic for years. We had a Yamaha "dirt bike" to get around on. Do to a small crash, they needed a part for it and sent me the model and serial number for it. I took it to a dealer here in the US with a plan to get the part and send it down with one of the crews that was headed down. The dealer had no listing for that model and serial number. Apparently it was a model made only for that market. Instead of a new part, they sent the broken one home with a crew, I got it welded up and re-machined it to fit. Then sent it back down. That was 7 year ago. That bike used when we got it and is still running well.

There are LOTS of wrecked bike down there, unable to get parts for repair of frames, suspension etc.
