They are all lucky to be alive. That’s one reason I don’t ride a motorcycle. I also was thrown off one in high school 50 years ago
, landed spread eagle on the hood of a car with my feet stuck in my friends armpits. 2 months later he and his girlfriend were hit by a car. Both spent lots of time in the hospital.

I agree with heh lucky to be alive part. Some accidents are bound ot happen however if everyone who drives any vehicle actually learned how to drive kept their vehicle properly maintained, either by self or shop, Paid attention to their driving observed traffic and road conditions, respected other drivers rights obeyed traffic laws probably 90% of the accidents would never take place. This would cause problems though. Vehicle dealers wouldn't be able to sell as many new vehicles manufactures would have to limit their output, Finance corporations would suffer, Insurance companies would have to drastically cut their rates to entice people to even carry ins. Er and ambulance services would have to reduce their staff Lawyers would have to create some other means of supporting themselves, a large portion of the police force would be unnecessary. Ultimately the ones who would suffer the most would be the Owners CEOs and top leaders of all of the above through loss of revenue
