MY HOME MADE MFT TABLE -

I have made a MFT (multi functional table) similar to Festool MFT

using 3/4" (19mm) MDF and frame made of 60mm 8020 aluminum extrusions which are miter cut, so that i could access all sides from corners for clamping and fixing other fixtures. MDF top has 20mm holes, driled with a Forstner bit, on a grid of 100mm center to center. Overall dimension of the frame is 1200mm X 750mm

I am sharing a few pictures of how useful it has been, to mount my cutting board mounted belt sander and jigsaw on the MFT.

Grid, i made a template on scrap 4mm plywood of 4 x 4 holes at 100 mm spacing and using that, i have drilled the holes on the table top.

I've been wanting a table similar to this, kadambi. Maybe your post will kick off this project for me!

definitely more affordable than the Festool MFT! considered cloning this myself..................its on my "bucket list" if I live to be 100 before I kick the "bucket" I might actually get to a lot of these projects................

but seriously nice job and keep up the good work!

    Hi Backyard_cnc,
MFT as good as Festool is doable and it is no rocket science. I am sure, you would do it, sooner than you think right now.
all the best. Thanks for your nice words.
