    Scalers in general are very effective; removing paint and rust during work hours.
    Butt of jokes and derision all others.

    Worst of all, the 'deck crawler'. Essentially a mini Tennant anti-skid grinder, which in turn is a scaled up wheel dresser.
    Nothin'll scramble yer nads in the morning like that. Even the noise, heard many, many, bulkheads away. Many.
