    Hi all!
    New member here, looking for ideas to make tools for my metal working. I currently have 4 lathes HF, Jet and 2 South Bends. Two Milling machines one manual and one CNC and a CNC Router along with a shop full of other stuff. You might call me obsessive and you'd probably be right?

    I live in Central Orygun with my wife and two dogs on our small acreage where I collect Scoopmobile loaders, hence the nick name.

    Thanks all for your time!

    Hi George,

    Welcome!

    That's quite a machine shop setup!

    Of all the homemade tools you've made, which is your favorite?

    Thanks Ken!

    Right now it's the off setting tail stock center. I needed to make some MT3 tapers so this has been invaluable as I don't have a taper attachment yet. Once finished I intend on making a couple quick change tool posts and holders for the two SB lathes I have.

    Hey George,

    Sounds good. Let's see a few pics of the tailstock center…

    Thanks guys;

    Ken, I'll try and get a picture or two if I can find it?

    DIYer You have no idea how stuffed it really is. I recently retired and closed my sign business, so all the woodworking stuff still needs to be removed.
