Searching around for ideas to build a english wheel and bead roller on a common frame/stand and found this forum. I have access to a full machine shop and welding equipment as well as wood working equipment in the pattern shop I am employed.

    Hi Robert,

    Welcome!

What are you planning to make with the English wheel and bead roller? I like the idea of using a common frame for the two tools. Be sure to post some photos of the work-in-progress; we'd love to follow along…

Thank you for the welcome messages. I have taken a few classes and workshops on custom sheet metal fabrication and have the bug to try it at home. I want to start tinkering with my old 49 Chevrolet truck with some custom touches. After pricing quality tools online I have decided to build some on my own. I have found a couple ideas I like, still at design stage but hope to have files to the local steel supplier to cut out the frame in a month or so.
