Thank you for the photo shop tour. It is an inspiration seeing the setup and tool cabinets.
A couple years ago we installed at the house in Yorba Linda, CA at 100kWh/day ground mounted 55 panel solar PV system on our south facing lower slope in a box canyon. The solar array receives sunlight from dawn to sunset everyday. I will look into the Kill-A-Watt power monitor for my shop. So far we produce over 1 megawatts per month in excess electricity back into the SCE grid but I am still very mindful of our electricity consumption and despite being a net producer of power I am always looking for more ways to conserve power. We did a 100% conversion to LED lighting inside and outside the house and install second generation variable speed pool pump before going to solar. It was a smart investment because each each year seems to be much warmer.
Regards,
Paul
