New to you

Hi,
I am a retired engineering tech. I design and fab. Hand planes in my tiny machine shop. I do a lot f woodworking as well as machining and get the most enjoyment from making a tool to get a job done or cheat a retailer. Sometimes it costs more but the satisfaction can't be priced. Forthright years ago I was a toolmaker apprentice,so I guess that never wore off.
Looking forward to learning from you guys.

Thanks, I am presently building a "high tech" gun rest for my son the competitive shooter. Then I must get back t o building furniture for my 14 grandkids!
