    I added on a truss system today to distribute the force of the jack. I still need to weld it out. Making progress.

    That looks much better is that 1 1/2" sq tube 3/16" wall thickness? ASTM A500 B is the most common structural tubing having a tensile of 58,000. PSI should do nicely even 1/8" wall thickness might be enough with enough weld area. Either way a lot depends on the butt weld in the center, a strap there will help. Looking good though.

    Yes sir, that is 1/2" by 3/16thickness tubing. I'll add a strap as well next weekend. I still need to add a back gage and a lowering stop. Plus, I think I need to build a table for it. Its getting there.
