Less eventful than recent Space X launch; Elon cheerfully labeled a successful "rapid unscheduled disassembly". Reportedly sniping ensued on twitter of it being a folly.
I'd like to poll that group, and sort out those who can't interpret a tape measure, imperial and/ or metric.

I watched that launch and for an hour before the launch they talked about how the goal was just to clear the tower. Everything after that was just a data grab that would get them to their eventual goal of low orbit. The thing got up there minus 5 engines too. The automatic self destruct actually took it out which basically means they knew there was no way to determine where the debris would fall. I'm sure the FAA will get a nice payoff to lift the grounding after their investigation finds no fault.

I read that Spacex will likely get a fine of around $250,000.00 from the FAA for the incident.

So the FAA will take 45 seconds of profit from them... Boo Hoo. Not even a slap on the wrist really while that amount would change the lives of 75% of the population of the planet!
