Perfect green color matching - GIF

Perfect green color matching. I am skeptical; camera angle changes at 0:52.

I've seen guys at paint stores with very sophisticated color spectrum analyzing, and computerized mixing, not do nearly as close a match at that.

Paint stick shows he's mixed this color before. Still pretty amazing he could duplicate the color without measuring.

All of the paint I`ve mixed to match an existing color always dried darker so you have to mix it so it comes out a tad lighter and let a swatch dry to see if it does match.

I worked at a MAACO shop up in Chicago and the paint guy there, Chico, used to scoff at the color match cards they gave him. He mixed "by eye" most of the time and he always mixed slightly lighter than the "dry" color. This guy could match paint from a car that was 20 years old and faded and you couldn't tell what panel he'd repainted. I never had to fix a run, eye or drip while he was there. He left to start a paint shop out of his garage. He came back a few months later and showed us some low rider paint jobs that would blow your mind. Thick lacquer candy apple paint jobs that would nearly blind you from the glare. Incredible. This guy would give Chico a run for his money!

I also hope he doesn't pick up a color match and think it's his drink! he's using the same cup for his Coolaid!

I looked carefully to try to determine if this was a hoax but a "fingerprint" kind of supports the video. When he applied the 1st white paint the white dot appeared and subsequently when adding the 6th color the two black dots appeared. None of those dots were present in the first frames when he is given the sample.
