    A lot of fittings have been scared with pump pliers because folks don't have enough grip to use them. Watched a guy nearly grind the teeth of a pair of pump pliers all the way through a rusty pipe fitting
    But we all know that was a demonstration of concept the fitting wasn't even tight enough to scratch the paint.

    I do not think I have ever seen a box wrench with that much angle on the end. But that is a good idea.
