Plans Marketplace Coming Soon…

Hey Guys,

The new online plans marketplace is nearly ready to launch! As we've been discussing, it'll give individual plans authors the opportunity to showcase their work and make some money. If you’ve been thinking about submitting a set of plans, now’s the time to send them along. This is really happening: the first six sets of plans are already in hand and we’ll be launching very soon.

Our graphic artist has done a fantastic job of creating a cover art template that he’ll be adapting for each set of plans. We think it looks great - how about you?

If you’re worried that your plans need better illustrations, we’ve got you covered! One of our forum members and contributors (MetalDesigner) has offered to make his CAD talents available as a service (the fee is tentatively set at 5%) for other plans authors. He can generate everything from traditional 2D mechanical drawings to the most detailed, 3D graphics. Check out these few examples:

We’re really getting excited by the possibilities; we hope you are, too! Whether you already have a set of plans for your design or if you only have dimensions and a few simple drawings, we’ll be able to generate a high-quality (and highly salable) product for you, complete with custom cover art and as much detail as you’d like to include.
