Great video that shows that where there is a will there is usually a way. Brought back memories of working before I had as many tools as today and made me realise just how lucky I am.

seeing the finished tool you would never suspect it was made mostly with a file a hand drill and a small angle grinder
Never try to tell me it can't be done
When I have to paint I use KBS products

Man, what an excellent video. Loved the music. Very impressed with your workmanship skills, especially using a drill and angle grinder in place of a lathe.

    Awesome stuff!

Excellent video. I was watching on a cell phone and AT&T would cause the video to freeze every couple of minutes - I wanted to scream. This only seems to happen on the really good videos.

In any event a little advice on drilling stainless:
    1. Keep the spindle speed low, at least half of what you might use in steel.
    2. Never allow the drill to rub.
    3. Use a good cutting oil. WD 40 doesn’t cut it in stainless.

Having had my share of problems working stainless steel the above are hard earned guidelines.

In any event this video has stirred an interest in engraving. Well done!

I have always wanted to give graving a try. This is a pretty good example of making a pneumatic graver. I never knew all you needed was a small air pump. I was under the impression that it required a huge compressor. Maybe I'll add this to my seemingly endless list of projects.

Shaun Hughes's YouTube channel is a good place to go if you want to get into engraving. He also built his own machine, and he does a lot of hobo nickels.
