nice job on the stand but I cant see how the blade stays up. Possibly a close up would help

The following pictures should help. The entire frame is mounted to the board by two pieces of angle iron.



A piece of 3/8 in bar threaded on the ends is passed through a piece of 3/8 in pipe to be the hinge. Tightening of the nuts sets the friction level to allow the saw to hold its vertical position, wherever it is moved.
